Ben purchased
his first property in Douglas County in 1968. He has always been heavily
involved in the community and has served on several county boards
over the years.
Ben's involvement with youth in the community is legendary, actively
participating in such organizations as the Takedown Club, (wrestling)
and the Quarterback Club (football). He coached both baseball and
soccer and spearheaded a Parent's Task Force in 1979 to fund and build
a combination baseball/soccer field in Larkspur which is still an
integral part of the recreation leagues, and Larkspur Elementary schools
curriculum today.

Ben has many years
experience in the real estate industry, commencing in 1979 when he
completed requirements for his Real Estate Broker's license in Colorado.
In 1985, he entered the real estate profession full-time as a Sales
Associate with a local real estate company in Castle Rock, and started
his own business in 1989 - Cox-McCurdy & Associates, Inc., affiliated
with Metro Brokers. He currently manages 8 associates in an office
that does over $15 million in sales per year.
Ben has played
an active role in the real estate community, serving on several real
estate boards over 10 years. His continual commitment to professionalism
is illustrated by his continued education in his GRI (Graduate of
Real Estate Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist)
designations. And currently working on a "Masters" in Real Estate (MRE).
More than forty years of doing commercial investment real estate for employing
corporations and his own companies has allowed Ben to obtain insight
and expertise in the commercial investment side of real estate. |
